Fist Midwest Wine Club Recap

Our first Midwest Wine Club was a success. Allison, Bridget, Jen, Kristine, and myself all had a good time. Our favorite wine was the one Bridget brought. It was a toh-kai. It was light, not too dry, and not too sweet. So perfect for everyone.

I've attached some pictures from our first get-together. Looking forward to September's Wine Club (the third Thursday of the month, September, 16, 2010). Let me or Kristine know who would like to host it.

The theme for this month's Midwest Wine Club is the White Party, much like Diddy's All-White Party in the Hamptons each summer. That means white wine (or champagne) and white clothes. Luckily, Dean has white hair (mostly) so he will match everyone.

Reminder

Just a reminder that August 19th will be the first montly wine drinking event at my and Genevieve's place. We've got an idea for a theme, and will give you the details as soon as we solidify them. We're thinking something to celebrate our "hood." Get your gansta gear ready!

The first official event

Hi everyone,
Just sending this out so you can mark your calendars for August 19th as the first official wine club meeting! It will be hosted by Genevieve and myself at our new pad, 1856 N. Humboldt Blvd, Unit 1S. We are working on a theme still, so we will let you know what that is. The idea is to bring a wine related to the theme to share. Food will be provided. If you aren't a wine drinker, you are welcome to bring whatever it is you like to drink, we still will enjoy your company!

Please let me know if you'll be attending. And let everyone know who has not joined the Google Group know they should join the group so they can be kept in the loop. Thanks!
